Social Networking Transforming the way we do Business

There's only one or two of my friends and family that really understand what I do for a living. The rest can't fathom how I can be a productive employee working from home. Sometimes its frustrating to hear comments like "cushy job sitting around in your pjs all day", "I have to get up and go to work in the morning". Don't get me wrong, I love the perks. But truth is I work harder and put in longer days when I work from home. In fact, at times it feels like I never stop working.

With rising gas prices; long, congested commutes; businesses trying to save money in a "rougher by the day" economy; increasing focus on being green and our carbon footprint; and technology finally permitting; the number of professionals telecommuting will definitely rise. And it won't just be techies either.
